WegoLoc(weighted gene ontology term based subcellular locallization prediction) predicts protein subcellular localizations of animal, fungal, plant, and human proteins based on sequence similarity and gene ontology information.

Step 1. Choose a dataset and a kingdom
BaCelLo Dataset     Fungi Animals Plants
Hӧglund Dataset     Fungi Animals Plants
Human Proteins     Human

Step 2. Set BLAST E-value threshold
Examples: 5e-10, 5e-1. 1, 1e1

Step 3. Set multiplex threshold
Examples: any number between 0 and 1

Step 4. Sequence Submission (maximum 500 sequences )
Directly input amino acid sequences in FASTA format

OR Submit a file in FASTA format from your local disk.

Step 5. Click button!

BaCelLo Dataset Examples Fungi (cytoplasm) Animals (cytoplasm) Plants (chloroplast)
Hӧglund Dataset Examples Fungi (extracellular region)   Animals (Golgi apparatus)   Plants (plasma membrane)
Human Protein Examples Human (centrosome)
